Melsa is one of the pioneer Internet Service Providers (ISP) in Indonesia. Through the Bandung Interchange Network (BIN) - Melsa's original name - we began offering limited, commercial internet mail service in 1992 - the first in Indonesia. Building on our experience operating BIN, in December 1995 We launched full-service internet access - called Melsa-i-net, until 2004.

On July 15, 2004 Melsa-i-net name was changed into Melsa. This changes was made along with the introduction of Melsa's new logo. The new logo
symbolized company message for a fresh new approach in Internet Experience which are continuous effort in finding new technology for better and faster Internet Connection, excellence in Customer Care, and also emphasize on stable and continuous Internet Access.

At Melsa, we realize that each customer we serve has unique internet access needs. To meet these diverse needs, Melsa provides multiple internet access options. Since internet access varies according to:

type of connection (dial-up or dedicated leased line)
usage requirements (limited or unlimited hours)
dedicated bandwidth speed (from 64 Kbps to 2 Mbps).

Melsa works with their customers to identify their customer’s internet access needs and to provide appropriate internet access solutions.
