PROFILE PUSAT KAJIAN SISTEM BUDAYA DAN TEKNOLOGI LOKAL INDONESIAN RESOURCE CENTRE FOR INDIGENOUS KNOWLEDGE UPT. INRIK - UNIVERSITAS PADJADJARAN
In 1992, A university-based institution, that so called INRIK
(Indonesian Resource Centre for Indigenous Knowledge), was established
in Padjadjaran University. This institution conduct programme activities
to promote Indigenous knowledge.
INRIK has links with global networks of professionals and institutions
engaged in indigenous activities.
The first activity after the conference was started by conducting a four
years research on the interaction of Kasepuhan community and the
surrounding forest in the slope of Mount Halimun Area, West Java. The
research aims to document, study, and develop various interaction models
of the Kasepuhan community.
